JR55644 Front End Central Manufacturing Engineer (Probe)

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development, standardization, benchmarking and continuous improvement of operation/equipment metrics, business processes and BKMs for the FE ME network.
- Govern FE ME operation ground rules and Fab disciplines in probe area.
- Proactively uncover opportunities for improvement by deep-diving into the root cause of WS or Equipment MA/Lost/Standby nonperformance (for probe area), partner with Site/MAE/CPEE teams drive recovery and improvement.
- Forecast potential roadblocks in constraint workstation management and develop mitigation plans with the site ME Managers to maximize WPD (for probe area).
- Partner with network SIC, Equipment and Process team to improve and support BIC (Best In Class) Gb Output, Constraint Workstation utilization, as well as BIC NPI (New Product Introduction) and Cycle Time/Inventory Management. (for probe area)
- Be probe Area technical global SME to optimize area operations, systems integration and to drive global standardization across all sites.
- Consolidate pain points in operations and carry out Powerwalk to uncover opportunities for Productivity improvement with digital transformation.
- Lead proof-of-concepts and facilitate deployment of BKM reports and automation to improve fab/ probe area efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in the WW ME forums, facilitate Prove area network meetings and sustain/audit existing BKMs and business processes in the network.
- Create an environment of motivation to foster global team member’s engagement to the fullest of their potential.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience
- Intermediate knowledge of the 300mm semiconductor manufacturing process is preferred.
- 3 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Fluent in the basic concepts of Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, Equipment Utilization & Line Management.
- Thorough knowledge of Micron’s MES, Scheduling System, Line Management systems and related production and planning reporting tools.
- Knowledge in SQL, Tableau, Python capability to enable automation will be an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma Certified or Lean Manufacturing Certified will be an advantage.
- Demonstrate initiative and tenacity to identify right stakeholders and overcome obstacles to achieve objectives for various projects.
- Demonstrate success in utilizing their knowledge of area processes and equipment for problem solving and implementation of comprehensive solutions for all Micron sites.
- Proven track record of effective global collaboration, demonstrate good cultural awareness and agility to effectively drive alignment and use digital tools to build rapport remotely across various countries.
