Housekeeping Team Leader

**Position Overview**
The Housekeeping Team Leader organises and supervises the day-to-day housekeeping operations to ensure rooms are well-maintained for the comfort of guests. He/she plans resources, allocates work assignments, supervises cleaning activities, inspects rooms and monitors the turnover of rooms to uphold the highest level of cleanliness and efficiency of the team.
**The Role**
**A. **Manage Housekeeping Operations**
1. Plan resources and allocate work assignments to team members
2. Organise work activities for shift commencement and completion
3. Supervise work performance to ensure cleaning and maintenance are carried out in accordance with organisational procedures and standards
4. Inspect rooms for cleanliness and readiness for arrival guests in accordance with organisational standards
5. Prepare for VIP arrivals and ensure rooms are set up according to their preferences
6. Purchase, maintain and manage housekeeping supplies and inventory
**B. **Drive Service and Operational Excellence**
1. Resolve guests' concerns and feedback
2. Support departmental targets and objectives
**C. **Manage Operational Risks**
1. Monitor team's compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements on hygiene, and workplace safety and health
2. Identify and monitor signs of potential security threats for appropriate follow-up
**Talent Profile**:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel Housekeeping
2. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and requirements, use of equipment, and chemical handling
3. Team player with positive attitude
4. Detail and service oriented
5. Ability to work with mínimal supervision
