The Jobs-Skills Analyst (JSA) studies, monitors and spotlights business, operations, technology deployments, value-chains and the resulting impact on jobs and skills to make available timely, relevant, and fit-for-purpose Jobs-Skills Insights (JSI) to end-user groups to support their decision-making. He/she plays a key role in driving a skills-centric approach to transmit skills within and outside of SSG, contributing to SSG’s vision as the National Skills Authority.
- Engage end-users’ (individuals, enterprises, education-training providers and policymakers) to understand their JSI needs:

- Seek to understand end-users’ needs through engagement with internal divisions, and external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with internal divisions and external stakeholders to co-develop and prioritise deliverables to serve end-users’ needs
- Collect feedback from end-users and partners on our JSI solutions/insights
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and research to identify in-demand, emerging and future jobs and skills
- Synthesize outputs from analyses and research to distil and develop fit-for-purpose JSI:

- Interpret and sense-make jobs and skills information from a variety of primary and secondary sources
- Pull together the jobs and skills information into a coherent narrative in the form of JSI
- Develop JSI at the meso (sector) and micro (firm) levels
- Validate with innovation-led firms and experts to refine JSI:

- Identify innovation-led firms and experts to consult
- Engage the firms and experts to elicit information for refining JSI
- Interpret information from firms and experts to refine JSI
- Disseminate JSI via specific channels and formats
- Collate feedback on JSI from end-user groups for analysis
- Translate JSI and other data sources into new and/or updated jobs and skills statements

Periodically update the Jobs-Skills Repository with updated and/or new jobs and skills statements

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications
- Up to 3 years of relevant working experience in a combination of the following areas:

- Data analysis
- Stakeholder engagement
- Project management
- Public speaking
- Report writing
- Customer and stakeholder-centric and communicates well with various stakeholders from multiple levels and across different platforms.
- Good time management skills, and is able to multi-task
- Thrives in diversity and can readily adapt to change.
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
