The Image Sensor Solutions business aims to become the uncontested leader in optical imaging solutions extending human vision. ISS products are mainly produced in Austria and Singapore.
Your new responsibilities
- The incumbent is required to report to the New Products Development (Optics) function in Singapore, so as to drive the product development activities from product conceptualization to mass production.
- Incumbent is expected to be in a visible role, as a product owner, and will drive product performance improvement.
- The incumbent is expected to be technically adept in understanding engineering topics fast and contribute to ideation, experimentations, analysis, etc
- An astute project planner and coordinator to ensure timely deliverables for each project milestone
- Drive product development activities as a product owner and manage internal/external stakeholders, so as to meet critical project milestones.
- Lead core team and participate in product-related discussions to drive and conclude hypotheses, plan design of experiments, products and process controls, and perform failure analysis.
- Have strong product management & build coordination to meet project schedule, with clear understanding on product-related issues and potential solutions.
- Responsible for product analysis, integrating mechanical and cosmetic performance together with optical performance, with the target of improving overall product yield.
- Ensure smooth transfer of new products to New Product Introductions (NPI) and Operations Team.
- Lead technical discussions in customer’s meetings, and support the team in managing customer’s expectations and requirements.
What we look for
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Degree
- More than 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in technical field in product engineering, camera assembly, optic manufacturing, process integration, semiconductor FE/BE manufacturing or sensor packaging industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
