**The general responsibilities of the position are the following**:
**Job responsibilities**:

- Sustain NAND development post NAND qualification release and validate any late reticle/REM/trim changes to ensure there is no new issue caused by post QR changes.
- Perform electrical failure analysis at different test platforms, bench, ambyx, ATE, Palomar and probe station on NAND failures.
- Run Verilog and analog simulations and deep dive in the NAND algorithms to narrow down the root cause of complex NAND issues.
- Deep dive the root cause understanding of any system or customer issues, and provide the resolution or mitigation to catch up the critical milestones.
- Assess the risk of the any late design/intrinsic issue and potential impact to systems. Collaborate with system teams on performance impact and feasibility of fix interception.
- Update management on any post qual issue especially those with field risk and fixes plans.

**Required skills and education requirement**:

- Fresh graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree major at microelectronic engineering or IC design engineering or engineers that have 1-3 year relevant experience.
- Knowledge of NAND flash architecture, algorithms and operations.
- Knowledge and ability of scripting language (C, C++, Python, Perl).
- Strong interests in circuit analysis, simulations and bench failure analysis.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication, presentation and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated person.
