**About the Role** The Grocery & Retail team is Uber Eats' start-up within a start-up", accountable for scaling Uber Eats' new categories including Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and others. Our team is responsible for developing and contributing valuable financial insights to our APAC Grocery and Retail business. These include insights into capital and investment decisions and frameworks as well developing business cases for new initiatives, products and business opportunities. **The Impact You'll Have** - As an Associate, you will partner with the APAC Grocery and Retail RGM and the rest of the business to drive valuable analyses and insights. - Work on building and maintaining key reporting and analytics infrastructure to up level the team's analytical capabilities. - Take ownership of various forecasting cadences and responsibilities. - Develop business cases relating to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities. - Collaborate closely with accounting to provide input on management reporting needs and better understand our actuals. **The Experience You'll Bring** - Minimum 3 years of financial and/or analytical experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations - Elite Excel / Google Sheet skills: Best practices are second-nature, your models are efficient, scalable and intuitive - Experience with enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software package - Attention to detail and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment - Self-starter - you will take initiative, be dedicated, set and drive toward goals - Standout colleague - this is a highly collaborative and encouraging team environment - Excellent communication and people skills - numbers are key, but a business is built with people - Ability to prioritise - we are consistently working on multiple projects at any given time, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and has the ability to optimally multitask - Basic knowledge of GAAP
