**Social Worker**

As a Social Worker within the Family Service Centre (FSC), you may be deployed across any of our 4 FSCs based in the Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang and Punggol regions.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Conduct triage and intake services for members of the community
- Provide casework and counselling interventions for individuals and families
- Plan and conduct group work to support the needs of beneficiaries
- Engage in community work to build an ecosystem of assets and resources
- Engagement and advocate with systems and stakeholders in the community
- Strategise and coordinate interventions to support beneficiaries
- Assist with company projects or report submissions, as assigned by supervisor
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD/supervisor
- Perform other duties assigned

**Desired Skills and Competencies**
- Bachelor / Postgraduate Diploma / Master in Social Work
- No prior work experience required for new entrants to social work.
- Competencies in Casework, counselling, risk and crisis management, group work facilitation
- Competencies in working with various formal systems and conduct case conferences
- Good analytical skills
- Passion to work with children, youths and their families
- Good Interpersonal skills and able to work with diverse population
- Strong Communication and with good written and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the Code of Social Work Practice standards.

- Demonstrate sound and updated professional knowledge and skills in social work
- Relevant experience in working with individuals and families will be an advantage
