Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFF) is the leading trade association for the têxtile and fashion industry in Singapore and plays an active role in the development of the industry. Working closely with the Singapore government, TaFF is working to position Singapore as an innovative fashion hub in SEA with focus on Technology & Innovation, Sustainability and Asian Craftsmanship.

TaFF champions programmes that build capabilities, expand Singapore’s fashion and têxtile businesses internationally, and promote environmentally friendly business practices.

TaFF is the operator for Design Orchard Retail Showcase and The Cocoon Space.

**Career Opportunity**:
The fashion sustainability programme was launched on 30 November 2021. As part of this programme, TaFF will be implementing initiatives to help enterprises in our sector to grow in sustainability business practices and in capability. This role will provide lots of exposure to work with enterprises and opportunities to learn about the fast developing space of sustainability.

**The Role**:

- Responsible for implementing sustainability initiatives such as identifying, evaluating and realizing opportunities; curating and rolling out sustainability toolkits to help SMEs and enterprises.
- Work with partners to develop programmes to develop talents and enterprise capability.
- Develop case studies to identify best practices in sustainability.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to communicate, educate and achieve buy-in for the various initiatives.
- Maintain direct and active relationships with partners on industry engagements, including proactively resolving business, contractual and project management issues.
- Responsible for implementing sectoral initiatives. This includes identifying and evaluating opportunities, and implementing them.
- Develop a roadmap of initiatives to build up the key pillars of the sectoral initiatives. Also define project success requirements based on overall strategy of the Sustainability Programme. Develop ways to proactively set, track, analyse and communicate project performance metrics and business trends.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to communicate, educate and achieve buy-in for the sectoral initiatives. A wide array of stakeholders is to be expected.
- Maintain direct and active relationships with collaborator and partners on industry engagements, including proactively resolving business, contractual and project management issues.
- Work with collaborators on sustainability innovation projects.

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- 5 years in program management and cross functional project management experience
- Passionate and current in sustainability topics
- Experience in fashion/têxtile/sustainability/enterprise solutions will be a bonus
- Proven track record in managing projects from conceptualisation to marketing to events management
- Comfortable in leading/coordinating multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to think strategically, derive data-based insights and translate these insights into actionable implementation plans
- Proactive and take ownership of the projects, with an eye for details
- Track record of stakeholder management through influencing and engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
