**Job Description**:
The PR Specialist is responsible for delivering strategic PR support for Western Digital in the APAC region (excluding China, India and Japan) to drive awareness around the organisation and its products and solutions.

The position requires a clear and confident communicator with prior PR experience, who can demonstrate his/her track record of developing and delivering successful PR campaigns.

**Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute PR campaigns with clear objectives and measurable KPIs for the APAC region
- Develop press releases, media alerts, briefing documents, thought leadership articles, talking points, and industry commentary
- Confidently work with senior executives to provide guidance on localizing key messages, create compelling talking points and successfully manage media events and interviews
- Develop internal communications content to share successful PR campaigns across the region and globally

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least 6 years of related experience in public relations; PR agency experience a must
- A proven track record of developing and delivering successful PR campaigns
- A good understanding of the APAC media and influencer landscape; Existing press contacts a plus
- Team player with strong cross-functional, organizational and multitasking skills
- Good working attitude with strong work ethics and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Outstanding project and time management skills
