- Hagen Lee- Co-Founder, Director StriveX is partnering with a Regional Bank who is looking for a Treasury Operations Specialist to join them on a 6-months contract. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of treasury transactions and operations. Reporting to the Head of Operations Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including authorisation of FX, Money Markets, and Derivatives products, reconciliation of transactions, regulatory reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities
- Check and authorize all FX Deals, MM Deals, Derivatives, and Securities transactions.
- Process Interest Rate and Cross Currency Swaps and handle payment instructions.
- Input and authorize Incoming and Outgoing Customer Payments, including Brokerage payments.
- Verify and authorize Journal Entries in the core system and CLS transactions.
- Ensure funding is done on Nostro Accounts and manage Nostro Management transfers.
- Set up RMA Static Data Management and monitor FX/MM confirmation matching status.
- Reconcile transactions between Front and Back Office systems on a daily basis.
- Reconcile Securities custodian accounts and manage End-of-day nostro position reconciliation.
- Perform regulatory DTCC derivatives trade reporting on a daily basis.
- Maintain static data and data quality in the Back Office system.
- Collaborate closely with team members and internal stakeholders to execute transactions smoothly.
- Support ad-hoc tasks, projects, and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare internal and external reporting, including management information.
- Handle internal and external queries on Settlements-related matters and provide assistance to Asia Pacific branches.
- Conduct training for trainees and team members of the Settlements team.
- Participate in projects and User Acceptance Testing.
- Process SWIFT payments on behalf of the Admin and Finance department.
- Undertake other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Operations Asia Pacific.

Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury operations or related financial services role.
- Strong understanding of FX, MM, Derivatives, Securities, and Settlements processes.
- Proficiency in SWIFT payments, Back Office systems, and MS Office Suite.
- System experience in Midas would be beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on driving process efficiency and effectiveness.
