Singapore CHANGI GENERAL HOSPITAL PTE LTD Full time

The incumbent will provide basic and advanced Respiratory Care services to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardio-respiratory system.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to seek out opportunities for enhancements to quality, productivity and/or patient safety and care
- Collaborate with intensivists and respiratory physicians to manage mechnically ventilated patients, facilitate weaning and liberation from mechnical ventilation
- Initiate, titrate and wean patients off non-invasive ventilation
- Formulate appropriate Respiratory Care plans and/or change in therapy based on patient assessment
- Assist in critical care procedures such as Airway intubation, Bronchoscopy, Percutaneous Trancheostomy etc.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial punctures and blood gas analysis
- Facilitate tracheostomy tube change and stoma care, humidification and aerosol therapy
- Respond to MET (Medical Emergency Team) calls

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in respiratory therapy in ICU preferred
- Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations
