**Your background**

At least 3 years’ working experience in a similar role is preferred
Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience.
Process design & standards qualifications
Knowledge of Client Due Diligence (AML) processes in Global Banking & Markets space
Knowledge of Client Due Diligence (AML) requirements of global jurisdictions
Training/Coaching best practices
Ability to train/coach audience in-person or via virtual channels
Experience of working in an Asia/Global environment.
Control focused mindset and good understanding of regulatory and reputational risks
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
Good written and oral English, Mandarin would be a plus

**What you can expect**

The role is within a team of associates in the Anti-Money Laundering Client Due Diligence (AML/CDD) In-line Quality Control team - supporting client onboarding across Global Banking and Markets (GBAM). The team is responsible for the execution of quality reviews for a sample of onboarding records.

**What you will do**
- Execution of reviews for pre-audit readiness, onboarding audits, regulatory exams, GFC & M&I testing
- Quality review of sample test cases for full adherence with Enterprise and CDD procedures and requirement
- Provide analytical support and timely review of any profile quality issues noted through the Sampling and Testing process by audit, regulator and GFC and conduct postmortem
- Gather and organize data in order to monitor and status of action plans and prepare documentation for tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management
- Track and monitor remediation actions and ensure completion
- Proactively highlights and escalate issues/gaps identified to Management and Risk partners
- Drive risk routines through a monthly huddle to understand root cause to improve quality issues from quality assurance findings across APAC Onboarding teams
- Close engagement with Risk partners and provide support for quarterly thematic reviews emphasizing focus on quality, providing team a forum to connect and discuss gaps that have been identified through GFC tests, audits and regulatory exams resulting in a stronger understanding across teams
- Identify and track issues/trends and identify actions to resolve issues and mitigate risks associated with processes derived from observations/exceptions finding
