Manufacturing Engineer

Provide technical support and advice to Manufacturing Technicians on new programs and/or ongoing program enhancements. Develop and conduct tests to enhance manufacturing processes, monitor and compile test data, perform problem solving and provide technical support to resolve technical issues.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control
- Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC program and Tool/Gauge plan with Unigraphics NX software.
- Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment
- Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback
- Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion
- Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes
- Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs
- Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX)** EH&S**:

- Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company
- Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to his/her supervisor
- Responsible for performing a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions
- Comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required
- Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety** Ethics & Compliance**:

- Understand and carry out work performance in compliance with Collins rules and regulations
- Supplements and governing policies and the International Trade Policies and Procedures
**ACE**:

- Support the Continuous Improvement programs and ACE activities within the company
- Minimum ACE Associate certification under ACE certify program** Quality**:

- Provide a quality product/service that satisfies our customers’ needs and expectations the first time, every time
- Emphasize a total quality management process which provides accuracy, and strict compliance with agency regulations and customer requirements, giving the highest degree of confidence; understanding that meeting the requirements of the next employee in the work flow process is just as important as meeting the needs of external customer** Preferred Qualifications**:

- Degree or Diploma with 3 years relevant experience in an Engineering discipline
- Good team player with interpersonal skills
- Competent in GD&T
- Competent in SAP
- Competent in Lean Manufacturing
