**Structural Hull Designer (marine & offshore)**

Our Structural Hull Designer position offers you an attractive career opportunity to work on exciting medium to large scale Marine and Offshore projects in our Singapore office.
- Design engineering structure according to FEA Consulting technical requirements as defined by contract, class rules and specific standards within quality, time and cost given.
- Prepare and provide design calculation / BOM / general arrangement / sectional drawings.
- Produce accurate assembly / detail drawings within an agreed time scale.
- Ensure drawing list are updated for Dynamic FEA Team.
- Ensure production drawings and documents are completed and issued on time.
- Update and understand know-how on rules, class, authorities etc.
- Prepare 3rd party approval submission documents as requested by Marine Structure Consultants.
- Investigate scope of re-work / modification brought forward by the Production.
- Perform engineering coordination / drafting (drawings) / checking of FEA Structural Analysis report as and when required.
- Any other duties as assigned in support of FEA Consulting Services offered to clients.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma or Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum five years work experience related to Electrical design or related Structural Engineering Companies.
- Proficient in using 3D model softwares like E3D/PDMS, Navisworks,, Autocad will be advantages

**Job description**

In your role of Structural Hull Engineer you are responsible for both contributing to the expertise and knowledge within the Structural Hull discipline as well as on FPSO or other FEA Stress Analysis projects that the Structural Engineering Consultants are managing.

**Job requirements**

Furthermore you have:

- Experience and technical knowledge of Vibration Analysis, as well as working with Structural Consultants performing structural analysis of global and detailed hull structures.
- Familiar with rules of classification societies (i.e. ABS, DNV GL, BV and Lloyds) required for Fatigue Simulation and Structural Optimization.
- Experience in FEA Consulting Engineering & Design of floating units in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Experience with Visual Basic for Application (VBA) programming in MS office.
- Preferably you have the knowledge of Fatigue Analysis and structural interfaces with related disciplines i.e. mooring structure integrations, topside Integrations and other equipment integrations.
- Preferably you have experience working in with Structural Engineering Consultancy ABS hull software ISE/TSA and finite element software FEMAP
