As part of Creative's focus on innovation and excellence, the Creative R&D team based in Singapore is expanding to meet the challenges posed by the rapidly changing world of consumer audio products. The team works closely with colleagues based in Singapore and UK on embedded software for audio products. We are looking for professional Embedded Software Engineers to execute complete embedded software development lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
- ldentify technical challenges and risks and accordingly develop resolutions
- Develop technical specifications based on product requirements
- Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
- Review code and design
- Follow coding practices and recommend process improvements to build efficient systems
- lnterface with hardware design and development
- Support software QA
- Provide post production support

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Electronics Engineering or its equivalent
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Familiarisation in Python programming is advantageous
- Experience with ARM-based processors
- Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing Techniques
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with version control systems such as Subversion and Git
- Experience in firmware systems design, embedded development in Linux, Android BSP development, Real-time operating systems, Bluetooth and Wifi stack is an added advantage
- An interest in speech, audio sound design and/or music and consumer audio is desirable
- Those with 3 or more years of relevant experience may be considered for senior position
