Middleware Engineer

Responsibilities:
1. Assist supervisor to manage and supervise day to day operation.

2. Oversee the technical aspect for the project. E.g. Finetuning, troubleshooting.

3. Experience as team lead.

4. Experience in planning, scheduling regular activities. E.g. patching,

5. Good understanding on compliance and audit.

6. Good understanding in processed E.g. Change, Incident, problem management.

7. Monitor and oversee the entire system operation and ensure all day-to-day issues and activities are addressed according to the appropriate urgency/severity

8. Good in communication and inter

9. Respond to security violations, vulnerabilities, and events from detection systems

10. Good communication skill and able to Interact with Clients, Engineers, and Managers

11. Excellent scheduling and multitasking skills

12. Good, hard-working attitude with ability to work well under pressure

15. In depth knowledge in Unix and Linux Server OS administration to install, configures and maintain by regular patching to ensure system stability and secure.

16. In depth experience and proficient to provide Level 3 support for new installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

17. Lead the incident resolution in accordance with the business objectives, analyse and identify root cause of incidents and implement preventive actions.

18. Provides technical resolution/support to customers (internal and/or external)

19. Ensures operation is maintained at acceptable levels, including any necessary restart, recovery and reconfiguration procedures

21. Work with Application Development support across environments (Production and non-production).

22. Have basic knowledge of to install, configure and support Websphere and Jboss middleware components installed on Unix and Linux.

23. Understanding of backup and recovery procedures using backup tools for e.g. NetBackup.

24. Good hands-on knowledge in Shell, Perl, Python
