**Main Purpose of the Role**:

- ** Support the VP Product Die Attach Mainstream Asia in the management of the MMA Product Line.**:

- ** Supports achievement of yearly business targets (sales revenue, maximizing sales prices and margins) as set by SVP DA.**:

- ** Supports long-term success of the respective Product Lines by implementing the product strategy as set by SVP DA and VP Product Lines MMA within the organization.**

**Business, Budget & Forecast Support**:

- Contribute to the achievement of the overall targets as set by SVP DA
- Deliver input for the yearly Product Line budget process
- Support S&OP planning process (slots per month)
- Recommend prioritization of production slots for review and approval in the weekly DA Product Line meeting

**Product Management**:

- Support the VP Product Lines MMA in implementing the product line strategy to achieve annual objectives as finally set by SVP DA
- Responsible for gathering relevant market and competition information for the purpose of the strategy development process including drafting of product roadmaps and proposing implementation plans for final approval by VP Product Lines MMA and SVP DA.
- Identifies and proposes Continuous Improvement Programs and Custom Modifications for approval by VP Product Lines MMA. Provides input to the R&D review processes
- Continuous monitoring of machine quality and improvement whenever necessary

**Market & Sales Development Support**:

- Proposes and supports implementation of regional strategies together with the field (with support from CPM's) after approval of VP Product Lines MMA and SVP DA
- Monitors progress of plans and programs and reports to VP Product Lines MMA
- Identifies and proposes areas of product and services improvements to VP Product Lines MMA. Develops and leads marketing and promotion activities after approval by VP Product Lines MMA and SVP DA.

**Customer Management Support & Outside Representation**:

- Supports customer and key account management in regards of technical and commercial issues
- Supports critical customer issue resolution (escalations, priorities, resource allocation etc.)
- Improves his market intelligence (includes competitive analysis) through customer visits and appropriate trade show

**People & Departmental Management**:

- Maintains staff skill level matrix and develops staff selectively
- Rollout of the performance management trough MBO process for key employees

**Business Processes**:

- Suggesting and maintaining adequate business process descriptions
- Collaboration with other Die Attach departments to review / develop and implement business processes and quality standards in alignment with different locations.

**Education**
- degree in engineering, University
- additional education in marketing and business administration an asset

**Work experience**
- several years' experience as product manager for investment goods

**Expertise and methodology**
- experience in strategy development
- in-depth know how of semiconductor industry (assembly und packaging)
- marketing methods
- experienced in dealing with customers
- analytical and methodical thinking

**Other requirement criteria**
- fluent in English and Chinese (Written & oral) to communicate with Cinese speaking clients.
- cross cultural experience with Asian, EU & US countries
