**What will the internship look like?**

At our startup, interns are core contributors, not bystanders. We’re looking for proactive self-starters who are passionate about social media, community engagement, and the energy of startup life. We value creativity, experimentation, and the willingness to try new ideas and learn by doing.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across social content creation, user growth strategies, direct user and merchant engagement, and more — all while seeing the real impact of your work during a 3-month internship.

**What you’ll do**
- Create & Manage Social Content: Develop, design (using simple tools like Canva is fine), and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, short videos, graphics) specifically tailored for our key social media platforms: Lemon8, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Drive Organic Growth: Implement and experiment with strategies to grow our organic social media following and attract new users to sign up across these platforms.
- Engage the Community: Monitor social channels (Lemon8, TikTok, Instagram) and actively engage with our telegram user community, responding to comments, messages, and fostering positive interactions.
- Merchant Onboarding Support: Assist new merchants joining the platform - guiding them through profile setup, explaining the process, and helping them list their initial group buy deals.
- Identify Opportunities: Research relevant trends on Lemon8, TikTok, and Instagram, identify potential online communities or micro-influencers for organic outreach, and keep an eye on the group buying landscape.
- Track & Report: Monitor basic social media metrics (engagement, follower growth) and provide feedback on what content formats and experimental approaches are working best.

**What we’re looking for**:

- You’re a strong communicator with excellent writing skills, able to craft engaging messages for different audiences and platforms, especially visual-first ones like TikTok, Instagram, and Lemon8.
- You have a creative flair and a good eye for what makes compelling social media content.
- You're proactive, naturally curious, and embrace a spirit of experimentation - you're excited to try new content formats, engagement tactics, and platforms.
- You're genuinely interested in social media (especially Lemon8, TikTok, Instagram), online communities, e-commerce, and the group buying concept.
- You can commit to the internship duration of 3 months.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
