**StarMed Specialist Centre **is a one-stop day-surgery and multi-disciplinary medical Centre that offers quality day surgeries n diagnostic services at competitive private sector prices.

**Main Responsbilities**:

- Work closely with Nurse Manager to ensure the nursing team attains a high standard of nursing care, and be accoutable for the overall performance of the unit
- Oversees training and development for the nursing team to ensure the nurses are equipped with the necessary skillset and competencies
- Oversee On-the-job Training and orientation programme of new nursing staff
- To guide, coach, mentor and supervise all nurses
- Showcase strong leadership traits and expertise through demostrating good knoweldge of nursing practice and standards
- Assist in reviewing and ensuring current policies, procedures and work process are updated, relevant and align with the objective of the specialist centre
- To conduct regular audits and review on clinical competencies to ensure performance and to ensure achievement of targets set and expected competency levels

**Qualification / Work Experience Requirements**:

- Experienced in all 4 areas; Scrub / Circulating / Recovery / AU

- Adaptable and willing to learn new skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking
