*This role will be hired on contract basis to support our client's upcoming project.*

**About the role**:
The Engineer is responsible for executing tasks within their area of responsibility while ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements. Key responsibilities include:
**A. Development of Technology Knowledge and Commercial Support**
**B. Feasibility**
**C. Bidding Phase / Commercial Proposal Development**
- Select critical materials.
- Estimate project costs.

**D. Project Execution**
- Ensure the quality, adherence to budget, and timely delivery of piping material tasks.
- Review and analyze the client’s technical documentation and requirements.
- Design all piping components.
- Develop project piping material specifications and piping component data sheets.
- Perform pipe wall thickness calculations.
- Prepare technical specifications for the requisition of piping components.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations for piping component offers.
- Review and approve vendor documents.
- Maintain project technical files and update company standards.
- Perform inter-disciplinary checks on documents within the piping materials scope.
- Verify documents prepared by piping material engineers.
- Validate the issued MTO with the Lead Engineer.
- Establish and manage the Piping Material Management System (PMMS) database.
- Support the inspection department as needed.
- Draft mechanical valve specifications for motorized valve bodies.
- Notify the Project Piping and Layout Leader of potential technical, financial, or scheduling risks.
- Contribute to the REX (Return on Experience) report for piping materials after contract completion.
- Evaluate piping material costs.

**E. Construction and Start-Up**
- Provide technical support.
- Assist with engineering adjustments on-site, if required.

**F. Home Office Activities (Master)**
- Validate cost estimates.
- Coordinate projects by providing guidance to discipline leads and material engineers to harmonize designs and methodologies.
- Support projects and procurement by addressing both standard and non-standard issues.
- Propose modifications to departmental workflows and technical standards.
- Contribute to updates in company workflows and technical standardization processes.
- Collect project feedback for continuous improvement through lessons learned.
- Participate in vendor and outsourcing qualification processes.
- Contribute to procurement strategy development with the purchasing team.
- Identify and develop tools to streamline design activities.
- Plan, oversee, and manage outsourced engineering centers.
