VIVIDTHREE PRODUCTIONS PTE LTD was born when a trio of like-minded and passionate individuals came together. Since its humble beginnings in 2004, the multi-award winning studio has grown to become a leading player in the Singapore 3D Animation field, specializing in 3D Stereoscopic Animation and 3D Animation & VFX for Feature Films and TVCs.
Along the way, Vividthree worked on several well-received local feature films like “The Wedding Game”, starring Fann Wong & Christopher Lee and Kelvin Tong’s “The Kidnapper” just to name a few. Our clientele runs the gamut, from renowned big name advertising agencies, to those from the corporate and government sectors. The company always satisfies not only their needs, but also elevates their profiles and products to greater heights.
Never one to rest on its laurels, Vividthree has recently added a film production and content development arm, with a handful of glossy TVCs already under its belt and a hot batch of exciting animation carton series waiting to be rolled out.
**Job Summary**:
The **VP/SVP, Business Planning & Strategy Development **is responsible for the strategic business planning for the company in the Greater China Markets, including the development and implementation of BD strategies and activities, and translating those strategies into workable plans for implementation, ensuring alignment. This role is based in Singapore but will require frequent business travel to North Asia.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop an understanding of the existing business (including products/services, customers, competitors, the overall market and trends) through careful research and analysis
- Understand how major stakeholders are thinking about near-term growth, generally and in reference to specific growth initiatives, through interviews with these stakeholders
- Build a detailed financial analysis showing all of the assumptions, drivers, and financial statements for the next 3 - 5 years, accounting for a conservative, base, and aggressive case
- Conduct a total addressable market analysis for the business’ core market, assess major industry trends affecting the business, and describe what impact these trends may have on the business
- Review research reports and conduct primary research to hone in on ideal buyer type and assess customer demand for the company’s existing products and services
- Map out direct and indirect competitors, including potential future competitors, for existing and potential revenue channels
- Define a go-to-market strategy, including testing out potential marketing channels (if applicable)
- Review compensation plans and organizational structure to align incentives and ensure the health of the organization in the long-run
**Experience**:
- 10-15+ years of business development experience required within media and entertainment or closely related field.
- International experience is strongly desired, especially China and other Asian markets.
