Summary

**Job Description**:
Flight Planning

a) Compute operational flight plans for all TR flights ex-SIN & ex-station to ensure sufficient fuel for the safe completion of flight according to aircraft type, maintenance limitations (MEL), weather conditions, and minimum fuel requirements as guided by the Singapore ANR and company policies.

c) Analyze and evaluate all available meteorological information to determine potential safety hazards to flight safety, and select the most economical route

e) Ensure that fuel tankering is correctly implemented.

f) Preparing operational flight plans (OFP /OFP) with the appropriate maximum takeoff/landing weights, weather reports, airfield conditions, NOTAMs, and navigational charts, where applicable. File accurate ATS flight plans and sign the OFP as required.

Weather-NOTAMS / Flight Monitoring

a) Brief technical crew, where necessary, about re-routings in respect of tropical depressions/cyclones, volcanic eruptions, airspace closures, forecasted weather en-route, operational constraints, etc.

b) Monitor current meteorological information to determine potential safety hazards to en-route flights. Also, monitor operational messages (ACARS) along with OCC and respond to flight planning-related requests in a timely manner.

Situation Handling

a) Respond to handling/notification/reporting of occurrences/hazards in accordance with Company policy

b) Support and provide assistance during all emergency/crisis situations as per the established procedures in current OMA, FDM, Crisis Manual and/or any other company manuals.

d) Participate in bi-annual recurrent training courses covering aircraft systems, company SOP, meteorology, and navigational fundamentals as required by the Singapore ANR

e) Ensure that all qualifications remain current e.g., FAM flight, flight dispatch currency, etc.
