Our Client is a leading multinational company specialising in Oil & Gas. With a strong global presence and a commitment to innovation, we have established ourselves as a leader in our industry. We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join our team on a 1-year contract basis, with expertise in SAP.

Job Overview:
As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the general ledger functions of the company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as providing timely and insightful analysis to support decision-making processes. This position requires strong knowledge and experience in SAP, as it will involve utilizing the system extensively for financial reporting and analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the general ledger operations, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial results
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the general ledger function
- Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and support tax audits
- Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge and experience in utilizing SAP for financial reporting and analysis
- Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- CPA certification or equivalent is preferred but not required

Contract Details:
This is a 1-year contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
