**Key Responsibilities**: - Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping specifications. - Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools. - Install, test, and inspect pipe systems including flanged, screwed, and welded connections. - Align and secure pipes in support brackets and hangers. - Use appropriate tools and techniques for pipe bending, threading, and grooving. - Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing to verify system integrity. - Follow safety guidelines and proper procedures for working in industrial or construction environments. - Collaborate with welders, foremen, and other tradespeople as needed. - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. **Requirements**: - Proven experience as a pipe fitter, especially with Mild Steel & Stainless Steel 2" to 12" pipes. - Proficiency in using pipe fitting tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, torches, and grinders. - Strong understanding of piping systems in industrial, commercial, or construction settings. - Ability to read technical diagrams and follow instructions precisely. - Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights. - Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., OSHA) and PPE usage. - Certification in pipe fitting or relevant trade school training is a plus. **Work Conditions**: - Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions. - May require lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods. - Occasional overtime and weekend work may be necessary based on project needs.
