**About the Opportunity**

The **Network Expert Engineer, Asia** will be a member of the IT Operation team in Asia, and he/she will be based in FCM Singapore office. As a **Network Expert Engineer**, you will provide exceptional technical support for our growing company. As a confident and outspoken decision maker, you will investigate and resolve problems for the entire Network product line, including our wireless access points, security appliances, switches, telephony system and other network technologies.

**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and support: Reliable Network infrastructure across Asia
- Responsible for day-to-day management and administration of various network system. (Primary Cisco Meraki and fortigate)
- Support various networking devices (e.g., Switch, Firewall, Router)
- Diagnose and solve wireless, security, switching, and other various network-related issues.
- Collaborate with other support team members to fix network outages, incorrect configurations, and sophisticated networking issues on company' devices.
- Read and analyze packet captures using Wireshark.
- Work with our engineering and product management teams to diagnose and resolve critical, escalated issues.
- Understand and use Linux console commands to identify and resolve issues with Meraki devices and Meraki Dashboard services.
- Use acquired knowledge to suggest, edit, and write in-depth Knowledge Base articles.
- Stay up to date on Meraki features and technology by completing instructor-led and self-paced training modules.
- Vendor coordination and management
- Create and maintain technical documentation.

**Standby work might be required (24/7 support)**

**You will have**:

- 10+ years of experience as a network administrator
- Advanced knowledge of security best practices
- Knowledge in installation, configurations and administration of NW devices (e.g., Cisco Switch, Firewall, Router)
- Computing Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, engineering or other computer-related fields of study
- Advanced knowledge of Meraki network technologies and architecture (HA)
- Advanced knowledge of Meraki security architecture and capabilities
- Experience in large scale audit or governance projects
- Advanced knowledge of VPN, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, UDP, QoS, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
- Experience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, 802.11 wireless networks, VPNs, NAT devices, & DHCP servers.
- Detailed comprehension of fundamental networking protocols including TCP, STP, ARP, DNS, Ethernet, OSPF, etc.
- Ability to lead projects through complete project life cycle
- Networking certifications a plus: CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, etc.
- Good Knowledge on Azure cloud networking concept
- Good Knowledge of Datacentre management
- Good Knowledge of Telephony Systems (Avaya, Cisco)
- Excellent communication and articulation skill - Fluent in English
