Climate Change and Sustainability Consultant

ERM is seeking an energetic, self-starting Sustainability and Climate Change Consultant able to drive change in process and behavior to join our consulting firm in Singapore.

We are looking for an individual to support and expand a network of excellent client relationships delivering Climate Change and Corporate Sustainability services in the industry sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in innovative and exciting projects that ERM is currently working on.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Support the Growth of ERM Singapore's services in Low Carbon Economy Transition, Climate Change, Corporate Sustainability, Environmental Advisory Services;
- Deliver consulting services for clients coming from various sectors in Singapore and across Asia Pacific;
- Areas of project focus will, among others, include sustainability strategy development, ESG reporting, climate action, greenhouse gas inventories and carbon footprinting, sustainability target and goals setting, stakeholder engagement, and environmental impact analysis;
- Think critically and strategically, helping to influence decision-makers and outcomes for our clients in terms of sustainability strategy and disclosure, as well as climate change.
- Assist in general business development research, marketing, and other development tasks.
- Fulfill internal management responsibilities of ERM including planning and budgeting, training and professional development, and interfacing with other practice areas and project teams within ERM in Singapore and other country offices.

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor or Master degree in Environmental or Social Science, Environmental engineering, Sustainability, Climate Change or a related field;
- 1 -2 years of relevant working experience in sustainability, climate change, social performance, and environmental assessment preferably in a consulting role;
- A self-starter with demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively within multiple levels of consulting staff and client personnel
- Good to have: project management skills and ability to manage assigned multiple tasks with remote supervision and tight projects timeline;
- Good report writing and presentation skills with high level proficieny of MS Office Suite including Power Point, Word, and Excel.
- A willingness to travel within South East Asia (when condition allows) is essential for short terms assignments; and
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
