We are seeking a versatile and driven Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team. As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, content creation, communications, and other ad hoc duties. This internship is designed for university students who are interested in developing their skills in multiple areas and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

**Responsibilities**:
Marketing and Communications:

- Assist in developing and executing comprehensive internal and external communication strategies.
- Create and distribute engaging company announcements, newsletters, and press releases.
- Manage and monitor various social media channels, actively responding to customer inquiries and comments.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal meetings and communication platforms to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer trends and preferences for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create compelling content for marketing materials.

Content Creation:

- Research, write, and edit engaging and informative articles, blog posts, and website content.
- Generate ideas and propose unique angles for press releases, pitches, and media communication.
- Assist in crafting persuasive and well-structured proposals for business opportunities and partnerships.
- Conduct thorough proofreading and editing to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of content.
- Optimise content for search engines and ensure it aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.

Ad Hoc Duties:

- Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
- Provide support in organising and coordinating company events and initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitors.
- Assist in data entry, organisation, and management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and assignments.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and storytelling.
- Proven ability to research and write engaging and informative content.
- Familiarity with different writing styles and formats, including articles, blog posts, press releases, and proposals.
- Basic knowledge of content management systems, SEO best practices, and social media platforms.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and ability to propose unique angles and ideas for content and media pitches.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for staying updated with industry trends and best practices in content creation and marketing.
