Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.-
- Prepare concept design reports, detailed design specifications, design sketches/drawings, proposals, and other tender documentation, (including submission procedures, and Singapore design standards) for the implementation of medium to large sized engineering projects.
- Carrying out site investigations and audits.
- Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects.
- Communicate effectively with the internal team and external consultants to produce coordinated designs for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Undertaking site inspections and associated reporting, liaison with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors.-
- What can you bring to the team?- Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:- A minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in structures design, with a strong knowledge of bridge design and construction. Proven experience in leading / coaching a team and/or lead a project.
- A tertiary qualification in civil / structural engineering and a proven history within the consulting environment. Proven experience in the development, execution, and completion of a wide variety of medium to large scale projects, including accountability of budget and timeframe.
- Design skills in steel, reinforced & pre-stressed concrete structures, with proven experience in bridge structures analysis & design. Segmental Box bridge analysis and design is also preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and local practices, proficiency in usage of relevant software’s and interpretation of results. Experience in writing reports, tender proposals, and submissions.
