**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Our client, engaged in a population-based health research project, is seeking a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is service-driven, and excels at time management. The role mainly involves conducting dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scans on research participants at a health screening centre.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Obtain informed consent from research participants.

2. Conduct health assessments, including anthropometry and blood pressure measurements, as needed.

3. (After completing training) Perform bone densitometry and whole-body composition scans on 20 participants

per health screening session, ensuring timely completion per participant.

4. Review scan images and accurately enter data, noting any anomalies. Flag any observed anomalies for review

by the radiologist to assess clinical significance.

5. Analyse scans to determine bone density and body composition, and upload the results to the research

database.

6. Carry out regular quality control, calibration procedures, and equipment maintenance.

7. Update and maintain inventory of consumables.

8. Ensure participant safety and confidentiality by following best practices and promptly reporting any

incidents, complaints, or adverse events.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma in sciences
- Has at least 1 year experience as a technologist in an X-ray facility.

**WORKING HOURS**
- Full-time work hours are (Average 41.25hrs per week):

- Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri: 7.45am to 6.15pm
- Alternate Sat: 7.45am to 3.15pm
- Service not required on Sundays and gazetted public holidays
