NQAC (Nestle Quality Assurance Center) Singapore is situated within R&D Center and are part of the Food Safety network in Nestle. We are the competency center for contaminant analysis supporting the region of AOA (Asia-Oceania-Africa) by providing the highest quality food safety testing and playing a vital role in safeguarding food and beverage safety. We are looking for agile and passionate personnel on analytical testing to join us as a Method Implementation Manager to drive through project portfolio management the effective implementation of analytical methods at NQAC Singapore. In this position, you will assist the responsible functions in implementation of instrumentations such as LC-MSMS, ICP-MS, GC-MS, etc. and provide training on techniques and related topics and provide scientific support for new methods to other laboratories in AOA. **A day in the life of...** - Manages the portfolio of methods that are under validation and verification during, beta testing, implementation and extension of scope. Defines project plans and coordinates with the respective functions in NQAC SG and R&D (NR) the work for a successful project from project plant to hand-over to Lab Operations. - Assist the different laboratory sections in the implementation of new official analytical methods (AOAC / ISO), Laboratory Instructions (LI) in the field of chromatography and spectrometry (LC-MSMS, ICP-MS, GC-MS, etc.) in line with needs identified in the markets for safety and compliance. - To be the first point of contact with NIFSAS Method Management and Analytical Units for the new methods in NQAC SG. Give continuous feedback to NR on method performance during implementation and share with other NQACs. - Uses NCE routines to manage method implementation portfolio (e.g Measures at QOR, MOR, WOR, GSTD for RCs etc). - Owns and maintains some NMS processes - Aligns new methods with requirements of the Quality System (GLP, ICPs, SOPs, LIs, laboratory safety for new methods). - Does technology scouting through suppliers and conferencing and feedbacks on future needs on technological developments to suppliers and R&D (NRC). - Participates to internal laboratory audit/assessment, External laboratories and Factory laboratories" **What will make you successful** - University Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field. - Scientific Writing: R&D Reports or Peer Reviewed Scientific Publications - Demonstrated competence in their specific field to support business requirements - Laboratory audits ISO 17025 - Track record in Project Management and Portfolio Management - Training and Coaching of analysts in Techniques and Project Management activities - Successful RCA (GSTD) - Establishing networks of experts (NRC) through projects
