Overall, the infrastructure security engineer is responsible for securing the Acronis infrastructure - that is, networks, operating systems, hypervisors, etc. Also, infrastructure security engineers may write code that protects Acronis, improves log processing, triggers security alerts, assists in monitoring, and does many other things to keep our employees and customers secure.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Develop and update hardening guides based on the threats discovered as well as known adversaries' tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
- Work closely with SOC to review the infrastructure the adversary position, design and implement monitoring and alerting approaches that would benefit SOC visibility.
- Take part in penetration testing, adversary simulation and business continuity exercises.
- Take part in incident response by providing expertise and hands-on assistance when needed.

**WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**
- Good knowledge of operating system design and architecture, either Windows or Linux, preferably both. Having hands-on experience in operating system exploitation is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of networks and networking protocols, both from offensive and defensive perspective with strong emphasis on enterprise networking, WiFi, network authentication, routing, etc.
- Understanding of applied cryptography and cryptographic protocols, like TLS, IPsec, network authentication protocols like 802.1X, basic understanding of PKI considered an advantage.
- Experience securing Active Directory and/or Linux infrastructure, implementing strong authentication and authorization, network segmentation, least privilege models.
- Any coding experience is highly advantageous
