Handling authorization services, fraud control monitoring, temporary credit increase requests (after office hours) and customer services hotline (midnight to 8:30 a.m. / 9:00 a.m.) for the bank.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing of manual authorization transactions from various channels
- Manual card activation requests (from branches)
- Processing reversal requests
- Handling merchant terminal related issues
- Monitor after office hour fraud alerts using the various in house / scheme tools for cards and e-payments
- Transaction verifications by calling our customers
- Management of white list to bypass fraud parameters
- Handling of customers reporting of unauthorized usage on their cards
- Tag and replace cards for fraudulent or compromised accounts
- To act on commercial affair department’s (CAD) order to freeze account on an urgent basis (after office hour support)
- Reporting of statistics for the following
- CESIC
- Monthly department report
- VISA and Mastercard authorization performance report
- Credit warning bulletin report
- Anti-scam taskforce report
- To provide transaction and account details End to end processing of temporary increase (including notification to customer via SMS)
- Force through transaction evaluation
- Manning the 24 / 7 lost card reporting line
- Managing customer enquiries, requests and feedbacks
- Coordination with relevant departments to service customer
- Follow up with customer after system is available
- Downloading and uploading of daily Visa files pertaining to settlement
- Liaising with IT and Settlement team for any abnormalities whilst processing
- To take part in product briefings conducted by product owners or supervisor
- To take monthly product knowledge tests
- To attend to CISCO’s incoming calls after office hours and when notification to CISCO is unavailable as CISCO needs to confirm the status of the SSTs Checking on Visa line status for any reported connection issue encountered by customer
- Using test cards to perform transaction testing at regular intervals
- Assisting with PIV for major implementations during graveyard shift
