Merchandising Manager, Watches

Key Objective
- To develop LV Watches & Jewellery (W&J) Business in South Asia Zone and maximize sales within sell-through parameters.
- To define and coordinate (with the Inter-departmental Managers & Country Managers and Paris Merchandising Department) the strategies and objectives in terms of buying, collection launch, collection development, distribution strategy, prices, visual merchandising, training, and incentives.
- To implement a coherent and efficient reporting strategy and follow-up of sales and sell-through.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales & sell-through objectives for the W&J business in the zone
- Propose and implement adequate commercial actions to increase the W&J business
- Act as a bridge between Paris team, Country Management and Store Managers
- Formulate and coordinate launching plans and follow-up strategies for the W&J business
- Organize and manage adequate buying / transfer / reorder policy
- Report to the Department Head, Country Managers and Paris team on quantitative and qualitative aspects and key data of the W&J business in the Zone efficiently
- Develop knowledge of the markets, gather and provide marketing information and comments with Paris team on sales, products, prices, consumer behavior, customer needs, trends, competition
- Organize and conduct the products training policy, perform trainings with the tools received from Paris team. Create tools as a complement, to identify training requirements
- Collaborate with the Logistics Department to ensure that all conditions are met for a smooth delivery process
- Work with the Visual Merchandising Department / Store Projects Department on the in-store display policy
- Provide the expertise and knowledge to Clients in the regional and international High Jewelry Events in order to enhance their client experience and achieve the overall targets set for the respective events
**Profil**:
Key Requirements & Competencies
- At least 8 years extensive experience in W&J merchandising & luxury retail
- GIA certification is an added advantage
- High proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel
- Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Proven ability to communicate, convince in writing and verbal
- Professional presentation skill
- Open, modern, curious, communicative, action-oriented
