Class 3 Driving license is required

Vehicle, Cashcard and Petrol will be provided

1) Delivery - In house driver is reuqired to deliver parcels/shipment to customer as assigned by fleet manager

2) Loading and Unloading - Preparation of parcels/shipment on to the lorry for delivery

3) Route Planning - Planning the most efficient route to ensure timely deliveries.

4) Vehicle Maintenance - Ensure vehicle is in good working condition and complies with safety regulations.

5) Documentation and Record-Keeping - Keeping accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit. This may also involve obtaining signatures or proof of delivery from customers.

6) Customer Service - Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their deliveries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

7) Problem-Solving - Dealing with unexpected challenges or delays that may arise during transit, such as mechanical breakdowns, traffic accidents, or adverse weather conditions, and finding solutions to minimize disruptions to delivery schedules.

8) Communication - Maintaining regular communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on delivery progress, report any issues, and coordinate logistics effectively.

9) Safety - Prioritizing safety at all times, both for themselves and for other road users, by following safe driving practices, obeying traffic laws, and taking appropriate precautions when handling hazardous materials or operating in hazardous conditions.
