Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) in Bank of Singapore ("BOS") provides investment management service to: - high-net-worth clients who have delegated their investment decisions; and - fund managers when appointed as the portfolio or sub-fund manager Teams within DPM includes: - DPM Investment Management - DPM Portfolio Implementation - DPM Product and Portfolio Management Key Roles and Responsibilities Portfolio Manager in the DPM Investment Management team performs: - Fund Management activities which involve overseeing and making decisions about the investments within a portfolio of assets includes: - Research and Analysis for development of Investment Strategy and determination of Asset Allocation including interactions with counterparties for understanding of market colour and trends - Asset selection: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds and liquid alternatives, private equity funds, private credit funds and real estate funds, FX, Commodities, derivatives and structured deposits - Portfolio Construction, Reviews & Rebalancing - Risk Management & Performance Monitoring - Familiarity with ESG strategies and ESG integration, ESG certification preferred - Order placement for the purpose of fund management for the following instruments: - stocks, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds and liquid alternatives, private equity funds, private credit funds and real estate funds, FX, Commodities, derivatives and structured deposits - Meeting with Clients (including Singapore Resident Clients) to: - Understand their investment objectives and risk tolerance for Assets Under Management of DPM - Communicate investment strategies and portfolio performance managed by DPM **Qualifications** Work Experience Requirements - At least 10 years of relevant work experience at private bank, asset management or fund house in portfolio management - Proven track record of portfolio management, with a deep understanding of financial instruments and their market dynamics - Familiarity with portfolio management tools an advantage - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to make informed investment decisions Education Requirements - A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees such as an MBA or CFA designation preferred MAS Licensing Requirements Securities and Futures Act (SFA) - Fund management Financial Advisers Act (FAA) - Advising on investment products that are - Securities - units in a collective investment scheme - exchange-traded derivatives contracts - over-the-counter derivatives contracts - spot foreign exchange contracts for the purposes of leveraged FX trading - spot foreign exchange contracts other than for the purposes of leveraged FX trading - structured deposits Job ID 240000LT - ABOUT COMPANY - Bank of Singapore - Singapore Private Banking / Wealth Management Asia's global private bank Bank of Singapore is a wholly owned subsidiary of OCBC Bank, Southeast Asia’s second largest bank.
