**Bukit Panjang Methodist Church is recruiting an Administrative Executive. **ROLE PURPOSE** To provide daily administrative support to the Church Office Manager and Church Pastors. This includes planned, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required. The role is important to enable the overall church administrative duties are carried out efficiently and effectively. **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Assist Church Office Manager and Pastors in all administration related matters. - Prepare weekly bulletins and PowerPoint slides for various worship services. - Take minutes of Chinese Works Committee meetings which are usually held on a bi-monthly basis on Sunday afternoons or as and when required. - Assist in the preparation of the annual Church Leaders’ Planning Session or any other ministry events as required & to attend the session when needed. - Manage room-booking requests and ensure no double booking through the online room-booking system. - Perform ad-hoc duties or tasks as assigned. **TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES** We are looking for an individual who possesses most of the following skills and abilities: 1. **Organisational skills**: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines. 2. **Communication skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, primarily in Chinese. Able to do English to Chinese translation well. 3. **Time management**: Able to manage time efficiently, scheduling and coordinating meetings/ assigned task to ensure smooth operations. 4. **Attention to detail**: Paying attention to detail is crucial for administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing records and maintaining accuracy in data entry. 5. **Adaptability**: Being adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment is important as it allows admin executive to handle unexpected situations and changing priorities effectively. 6. **Interpersonal skills**: Pleasant & cheerful personality with good interpersonal communication skill. **CERTIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION** - "O" Level qualification and above or equivalent work experience. **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE** - At least 2 years of working experience in administrative work. - Comfortable to use Excel functions such as basic formulas would be an advantage.
