**Job Descriptions-**:
- Reports to Treatability Senior Chemist.
- Responsible for preparing and analyzing samples using various chemical and microbiological methods, writing and maintaining reports of activities for analytical testing in the wastewater treatment plant laboratory.
- To support Treatability team for wastewater samples collection and analysis.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new test methods and technologies including but not limited to analytical chemistry methods for wastewater.
- To assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOP)/ protocols for analytical test methods in the wastewater treatment plant.
- To support R & D projects and trials for wastewater treatment.
- To perform lab equipment’s maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration. Facilitate laboratory equipment/ accessories/ consumable purchase and inventory management.
- To liaise with internal/external stakeholders and vendors.
- To take part in the Group’s ESH (Environmental, Safety & Health) programs and related activities.Job Requirements-:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/ Chemistry or related fields.
- Diploma holder with at least 2 years of working experience in chemistry laboratory setting will also be considered.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Analytical and possess good laboratory instrumentation skills.
- Knowledgeable in Chemistry/Environmental chemistry/ Analytical chemistry.
- Responsible, proactive and goal-oriented who is also a team player with good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Able to work 12hour shift / night shift
