**General Responsibilities**

The position of an Assistant Warehouse Manager consists of managing, monitoring, and ensuring continuous improvement in the core functions of the warehouse with high standard. Liaise with company inter-departments to carry out smooth distribution operations according to work procedures.

**Essential Tasks**
- Supervise, coordinate, and manage all day-to-day warehouse operation & activities.
- Physical warehouse job is required on daily basic.
- Manage and control warehouse inventory strictly and efficiently, making sure inventories are accurate.
- Track a large and diverse inventory and maintain proper stock levels by devising appropriate reorder lead times and amounts to assure adequate quantities are available.
- Obtain quotes and negotiate comparative prices, order parts from vendors.
- Possess computer skills with the ability to use office programs.
- Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Act as the warehouse manager in his absence.
- Possess thorough knowledge of all parts in the warehouse inventory.
- Conduct complete inventories as well as quarterly counts.
- Possess a basic knowledge of bar-coding procedures.
- Able to use mechanical handling equipment efficiently, manage the usage and training of all equipment.
- Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to standard procedures.
- Strong leadership and be able to motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress,
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
- Ensure Company facility, machineries, tools, and equipment are in working good condition & well maintained.
- Perform related tasks as required.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- At least Diploma or 5 years work experienced in warehousing.
- Physically fit & strong with a good body build to carry out the works.
- A positive mindset to continuously strive & achieve high performance standard for the Warehouse.
- Forklift license & Singapore Driving License is a must.

**Competencies**
- Attention to detail, job requires being careful about details and through in competing work tasks.
- Cooperation, job require to establish a good inter-department relationship & cooperation with colleagues.
- Able to communicate clearly and give detailed work instructions to staffs.
- Hardworking & committed in any given tasks.
- Able to go the extra-mile to carry out Superior instructions.
- Good leadership with good knowledge of Warehouse roles & work functions.

**Salary Package**
- Gross Salary of minimum SGD 3,500.00/monthly
- Transport allowance + Mobile allowance + Performance bonus
- Annual appraisal and increment
- Annual appraisal & increment
- 5 days work week, 8:30 to 5:30.
- Workplace at Pioneer area.
