**Derivatives Operations Specialist, Leading Global Asset Management Firm in Singapore**
As a key member of the Derivatives Operation team, you'll play a pivotal role within the Front Office Services Oversight Team
- overseeing the trade life cycle of derivatives trades, collateral management, and supporting new business initiatives. Your core responsibility will involve overseeing the entire lifecycle of derivatives-related trades, managing collateral, and offering your expertise to spearhead new business initiatives. Your success will be marked by effectively collaborating with various stakeholders, ensuring trade accuracy, managing operational activities, and contributing to strategic rollouts.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the oversight of derivatives trade lifecycle
- Monitor both uncleared OTC and cleared OTC/ETDs
- Supervise collateral management provided by external service partners
- Act as the go-to Subject Matter Expert for projects and new trading instruments
- Drive the UAT process for enabling new trading instruments
- Contribute to operational strategies and tactically execute plans
- Conduct thorough reviews of ISDA, CSA, GMRA, CTA agreements
- Collaborate with the Middle Office team to ensure timely OTC trade reporting
- Keep a close eye on service provider performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs
- Provide timely and comprehensive responses to internal and external inquiries
**Qualifications**:
- A degree in Finance/Accounting or an equivalent field
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in middle/back office roles within asset management, hedge funds, or banks
- Extensive expertise in derivatives, spanning ETDs, OTC, Cleared OTC, futures, swaps, options, and warrants
- Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing ISDA Schedules, CSA, GMRA, CTA agreements
- Familiarity with various fund structures
- Proven ability to manage external vendors and provide oversight
- Preferred experience with Aladdin and DTCC systems
- Flourishes in fast-paced environments and excels under pressure
- Strong analytical skills and adept at solving complex problems
- A collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills
- A dedicated learner with meticulous attention to detail
- A proactive individual who takes ownership and focuses on service delivery
