**Main Responsibilities** - Reads and interprets production orders and pick tickets. - Exactly follows material handling processes and procedures to coordinate, store, assemble, receive, label and ship individual components, kitted together for final distribution to various locations. - Reads and follows special instructions. - Operates forklift, motorized pallet jack and electric delivery carts. - Follows housekeeping standards set. - Communicates effectively and completely with team members and other employees as necessary. - Follows all prescribed operating and equipment handling procedures with or without reasonable accommodation. - Participates in 5 S activities. - Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times. - Performs other tasks as assigned. **Qualifications** - Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English. - At least one year of directly applicable experience preferred. - Must be able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions. - Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. - Must be able to read production orders and pack tickets. - Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools, drum dollies, and powered forklifts with or without reasonable accommodation. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license. - Should possess basic computer skills (QIA, excel, word, power point). - Must be able to use and/or wear all required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation. - Must be able to work any shift. - Must be able to work overtime, as necessary. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
