**Job Description: Director, Product & Business Development**

Actuaries OnTap is seeking a senior actuary to join our expanding team. We will provide you with variety, enabling you to work on a range of projects with different clients across Asia. Your role will cover the following important duties:

- Helping clients to develop new and innovative products, providing them with differentiated end-to-end support
- Source new consulting projects from target clients and act as the main point of contact with key stakeholders
- Lead delivery based engagements, particularly those involving pricing or product development
- Create and lead the implementation of new initiatives that we can take to our target clients, including the supervision and coaching of other consultants to deliver the new proposition within expected timeframe and budget
- Present at industry events on topical issues which promotes the image and brand of AOT
- Act as a sounding board to the CEO on the strategic direction of the company
- Reinsurance optimisation to help clients decide on the best retention and reinsurance program for their needs

**Qualifications & Experience**

You will have:

- at least ten years of experience in an insurer, reinsurer or consultancy with strong knowledge of the different products common in the Asian market
- impeccable written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex and technical matters to a lay audience
- a well-rounded personality who enjoys working on projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- technical depth and strong grounding in pricing and product development
- familiarity with the latest regulatory reporting regimes and reporting bases (eg EV, IFRS, RBC, SII, etc)
- a commercial mind and enjoy problem solving to deliver clear actions which are value orientated
