Reporting into the Head of Business Development - IFM of ENGIE Services Singapore, the Manager, Business Development - IFM is to drive the growth of ENGIE Services Singapore as a strategic partner to address the sustainability challenges of its clients.
He/she is responsible to support the Head of BD in the strategic business development plan, direction, and execution to accelerate growth, profit, market share and ambition through ENGIE’s solutions in Facilities Management, Data Centres, Digital Solutions, Energy Efficiency, Renewables and Property Services.
The role is expected to build, grow, and strengthen relationships internally and externally with various stakeholders across the local and regional teams to achieve ENGIE’s purpose and set goals in carbon neutrality.
**Responsibilities**:
- Secure new contracts to ensure that revenue targets are met according to budget.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers and all stakeholders.
- Conduct early engagement with targeted customers to understand their touch points, strategize the approach and design solutions before tender launch.
- Identify and build rapport with service partners to ensure good support.
- Technology and innovative solutions savvy with creativity to design and infuse solutions in our proposals to meet customer requirements.
- Support in strategy update on a regular basis to management to adapt to market, regulatory and customer changes.
- Assess potential risks on each project and propose mitigation plan to management.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities.
- Keep abreast of IFM trend and market transformation.
- Secure new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals.
- Develop and pitch ideas to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
- Assist in timely renewal of certification as required by the relevant associations / industry.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
**Management**
- Adopt best practices and strategic goals to meet revenue objectives.
- Support team to plan, monitor, analyse and maintain project performance metrics to ensure deliveries and timely completion of task(s).
- Provide effective team and project leadership.
- Lead with integrity and establish a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment, while upholding organization policies and standards.
- Provide guidance to team members, including opportunities for coaching and development, to maximise work output and work quality.
- Work closely with the leadership team to meet company objectives through timely and regular reporting of project status, outcomes. and deliverables.
- Assist in the compilation and interpretation of sales and other management reports.
- Regularly engage and manage clients to meet business objectives and broaden revenue outcomes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field(s).
- Business Development experience with good networks and experience in the sectors that ENGIE is active in.
- Ability to effectively penetrate new markets.
- Preferably to possess tender / bid management knowledge and experience.
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Decision-making, organisational and leadership skills.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
