Senior Data Visualization Lead

**Key Responsibilities**: - Contribute to the development of the data visualization and data democratization roadmap, engaging stakeholders to ensure the roadmap aligns to and anticipates the business’ needs. - Contribute to the development and adoption of data visualization standard and principles, ensuring consistency across the board. - Get to the heart of the key business questions and challenges where data could be used to successfully run and optimize Citi outcomes. - Work with stakeholders in Product, Segment and Country teams to elicit requirements and design BI solutions that accelerate decision making utilizing multiple data points (e.g., marketing spend, product value propositions / incentives, customer engagement, cross-selling, etc. - Translate those information needs into metrics and KPIs that need to be created and updated on a regular basis, partnering with the COE and Technology teams to automate as needed. - Be a visual storyteller, create compelling MIS and front-end visualizations in Tableau for end-users, to make it as simple as possible to get questions answered in a self-service manner. - Use UX principles to build intuitive workflows, putting the power of data at the fingertips of business teams across the organization and measuring success by the number of engaged users. - Partner with the Technology team to deploy dashboards to production environments, based on detailed business and functional specifications, ensuring all appropriate testing is completed including unit testing, UAT testing and integration testing. - Work with Technology and stakeholders to prioritize the continued enhancement of regional reporting capabilities to continually provide incremental business value. - Build the Tableau Community for Citi markets to drive adoption of business intelligence and analytics solutions, create awareness of the tools available, and share your knowledge and expertise to gain the support of multiple stakeholders. This includes hosting Tableau Days, and Tableau Hours in partnerships with different teams across the region. - Build out the Tableau Creator Corner to share best practices and host events with Tableau Customer Success Managers and Tableau Doctors to further educate our Tableau developers. - Track and measure ongoing rationalization of MIS reports. - Track and optimize usage of Tableau licenses across the region, working closely with the global Licence Management team. - Partner with Technology teams in the event of any issues, leveraging Tableau Premium Support as required. - Ensure appropriate governance and controls for all Tableau related processes including new requests, requests for enhancements, data refresh and bug fixes, always ensuring access controls are in place and access entitlements are regularly reviewed. **Knowledge/Experience/Technical skills**: - Highly skilled Tableau Developer (minimum five to seven years’ experience); experience in Financial Services, is preferred - Proven ability to work with and interpret data models - Experience implementing best practice dashboard design principles to drive insight through analytics - Able to gather business requirements, elicit technical requirements, prepare business design documents - Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on dashboard creation, creating report specifications, integration test planning and testing, unit test planning and testing, UAT and implementation support - Experience providing support and expertise to the business community to assist with better utilisation of Tableau - Contribute to and support the organisations Data Democratization strategy - Basic data modelling in tools like Tableau Prep - Experience working in an agile environment using Scrum framework, Certified Scrum Master qualification would be an advantage - Tableau Certification would be an advantage **Personal Skills**: - Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting directly with senior business stakeholders - Ability to work in a fast-moving agile environment - Detail oriented - obsessed about quality - Creative - demonstrate a creative flair - Collaborative - easy to work with, across all levels of the organization; builds effective working relationships - Bias for change - actively seeks out ways to improve processes, people, etc - Influencing skills - able to influence outcomes without necessarily direct authority; experienced navigating large complex organizations - **Job Family Group**: Decision Management - **Job Family**: Business Analysis - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
