- Backend OSS/BSS integration, SW updates, reboots, telemetry
- CPEs from 3rd party vendor - frequent SW releases and regression testing (a few days - partially automated)

Q/A test automation (end-to-end customer experience, customer accounts, installations, CPE, Google Fiber app) - the delta is customer accounts(portal/app) (two weeks - not automated at all) - SW app testing, portal, web browser testing (e.g. Chrome testing)

Phone box (voice) testing - end-to-end voice calls, fax, group calls, 911 calls, business voice product, teleconferencing (e.g. any SW automation for Google Voice) - this is most urgent

Domain experts develop test case list, test catalog, in Test Tracker. Good knowledge of test tracker is a great plus. Domain experts get to the point where they can manually execute test cases. They then collaborate with automation engineers. After automation is done, the domain experts (or other test engineers will run regression). Automation engineer must support.
- Python - cloud GCP controller - interface with laptops and DUT - WFIF CPEs, USB devices, collect results push it back to test tracker - save logs, parse logs, typical Google test tools Borg, g3,
- Mostly python, JAVA is also good - Python is must, Java is good to have
