Aborist/ Horticulturist

Our client is a reputable and well-established company in the recreation industry. They take pride in providing a well maintained environment for their users. They are looking for a skilled **Arborist / Horticulturist** to join their landscape team in caring for the health and beauty of the plants and green spaces.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Conduct arboriculture visual tree assessments and coordinate necessary works with contractors.
- Lead, brief, and supervise landscape crews on daily operations and improvement projects.
- Design and implement planting plans, including preparing bills of quantities.
- Oversee budgets, expenses, and cost control for landscape operations.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate submissions, and participate in tender interviews.
- Conduct daily inspections of landscape maintenance and improvement works.
- Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with management on long-term landscape improvement strategies.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned to support the overall grounds excellence.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related discipline.
- ISA Certified Arborist qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of strong technical experience in horticulture, with hands-on expertise.
- Proven leadership in managing landscape crews and contractors.
- Strong knowledge of arboriculture practices, plant health care, and landscape planning.
- Ability to manage budgets, projects, and multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

**Work Hours**

Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
