**What the role is**

This position is in the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, which offers the Diploma in Psychology Studies.

**What you will be working on**
- Design, prepare and develop teaching and learning materials (for face-to-face and online learning) and assessments
- Be attuned to the latest developments in the field of Psychology and Counselling or Community Psychology and/or Social Service Sector
- Conduct and facilitate student-industry collaborations and take an active role in engagement with the industry
- Supervise students in research projects that may be quantitative and/or qualitative in nature
- Mentor and motivate students, and inspire them to actively participate in student life and developmental activities, such as local and overseas learning trips
- Take on additional duties as necessary (e.g. committee work and outreach events)

**What we are looking for**
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology or Counselling or Community Psychology
- Minimum three years of industry experience
- A passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths
- Have strong industry linkages to enable collaboration and engagement in Counselling or Community Psychology related projects and research
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, and willingness to invest in continuous learning
- Adopt scientific and empirical perspectives in working with colleagues, industry partners and students
- IT-savvy, and proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word
