Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) is an integrated maritime solutions provider. Managing a fleet of 600 vessels, over 20,000 seafarers and 2,000 shore-based employees enable the delivery of safe, reliable and efficient ship management services through a network of 11 ship management, 25 crew service, four wholly-owned maritime training centres, and five representative offices across the world.

We are currently looking for a qualified individual to join our multi-national team in Singapore.

**Management Trainee (2 years program)**

The purpose of the program is to accelerate the development of recent graduates towards becoming well-rounded global professionals through a combination of learning techniques that will help you create an exceptional foundation for your future.

You will be working in the Business Risk and Contracts department and it consists of assignments with different departments in the Singapore office. In this program, you will be actively involved and interact with all levels of employees in the organization. To enhance your development, a mentor will be assigned to you and he/she will guide and coach throughout your training program.

Trainee should be prepared to work in diverse situations. You will be under close supervision and constant monitoring of your well-being from your mentor and the local HR personnel.

**Responsibilities**
- The day-to-day work scope includes:

- Preparing and presenting quotations to prospective and existing clients for new business
- Preparing and finalizing the Ship Management/Crew Management Agreements
- Prepares, submits, and follows up annual budgets for existing clients’ vessels.
- Liaises with all internal departments
- Arranges and attends meetings with internal and external clients as and when required.
- Preparing management information and reporting as required.
- Providing analytical and administrative support as may be required.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree
- Good organizational and communication skills
