**What the role is**

You will work in the Environmental Health Institute, and part of Project Wolbachia - Singapore, an innovative project that aims to reduce the risk of dengue in Singapore. You will be working in the mosquito production facility.

**What you will be working on**

We are looking for committed individuals to support routine operation for large-scale production of male _Wolbachia-Aedes_ mosquitoes. Training will be provided. The outcomes are expected to contribute towards improving public health.

**What we are looking for**

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

- Able to systematically perform routine workflow correctly
- Able to handle mosquitoes of different life stages (e.g. larvae and pupae)
- Able to work staggered hours, including after office-hours, weekends and public holidays
- Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced working environment
- Physically fit to perform manual work
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
