This position is responsible for the marketing and leasing of offices, F&B and retail outlets, Childcare Centre, Medical Centre, among others, on the NTU main campus. This include the preparing of lease agreements, licence and service agreements and finding the right tenants for units available for lease. The Senior Assistant Manager will engage actively with other Offices in NTU as well as student bodies in meeting the needs of the NTU community.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing leasing strategy in identifying suitable potential tenants, leading the leasing team in reaching out to them to understand their space requirements and then market suitable units to them.- Supervising the depository for leases for accuracy and performing lease management and administration, including new and existing leases for lease renewal on a timely basis.- Contributing strategically in trade-mix planning for NTU campus and conducting site visits to for interested tenants through understanding market trends and commercial practices.- Supervising the leasing team on the relevant leasing and payment processes of onboarding new tenants and exiting tenants and ensuring that the tenants fulfil the agreed lease terms and conditions.- Providing guidance and supervising the coordination of the leasing team members with the operations team and other internal stakeholders such as Marcom and Facilities teams so as to achieve a positive outcome as part of lease management.- Conducting market research/studies based on identified leasing initiatives.- Promoting good relationship with tenants by regularly meeting them and visiting leased premises, to ensure that tenants adhere to lease terms and conditions.

**Requirements**:
- Degree in Real Estate Business, Building or related fields.- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in leasing and preparing lease agreements for commercial leases and Food and Beverage (F&B) function, preferably in a diverse F&B, hospitality and event environment, with direct involvement in marketing, deals structuring during lease negotiation and at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.- Familiar with planning of retail layout, strategising trade mix planning in a commercial environment, and is able to articulate shop front and shop layout planning.- Meticulousness in preparing agreements, with eyes for details.- Creative and enjoy strategising rental structures and reviewing key numbers on standard sheets with leasing team members.- Able to lead tenancy related processes and knowledgeable legal terms and conditions related to lease / licence agreements.- Approachable and enjoy conversations in lease negotiation, with good communication skills, both verbal and written.- Has an interest in leading a retail leasing team to excel with a focus on F&B brands.- A potential team leader with critical thinking skills to find suitable solutions or recommend appropriate course of actions.- A deep understanding and appreciation of customers’ needs and experience.- Enjoy working collaboratively as a team or across functional teams within NTU.- Enjoy moving around the campus to understand issues and challenges faced by tenants and stakeholders on the ground.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications particularly Excel, Words and PowerPoint presentation.
