Site Manager

1. Develop construction project schedule
2. Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project and provide timely updates
3. Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
4. Ensure compliance to all governmental and building regulations
5. Make sure all staff, contractors and suppliers are very clear on the project needs, requirements and schedule
6. Establish good communication and working relationships with client, consultants, government agencies, contractors, suppliers and staff.
7.Manage project team, all site staff, site works, materials and equipment effectively and efficiently
8. Investigate unsatisfactory productivity / performance and initiate measures to improve
9. Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders, as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
10. Responsible for all inspection activities
11. Monitor and supervise entire project team to ensure compliance of work
12. Manage material at construction site to ensure zero wastage and no overstock of material
13. Manage company assets and equipment rental to ensure optimal utilization and cost
14. Manage manpower and overtime cost to ensure optimal cost benefit within or below budget
15. Attend and/or chair meetings with clients, architects, engineers and workers
16. Prepare regular progress reports for each project
17. Ensure all changes to specifications, work scopes and drawings are properly documented
18. Undertake accident investigation when remitted by the relevant designated competent person
19. Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management
